This panga skipper strains to hold up two yellowtail tuna caught that morning off Loreto, Baja Mexico. I was there scouting services for a trip I will be offering in November to fish the Loreto area.

While some folks enjoyed the barbeque other anglers waited to get their fish weigh in at the Trippin' with the Triploids Derby on Rufus Woods. The derby committee did a great job and everyone is excited for the 2nd annual Trippin' with the Triploids Derby!

Most anglers fish for trout on the season opener, but Zack Tayor and his friend Stony like to fish for bass. These fish were taken at Leader Lake. They also had a bucketful of big bluegill and perch.

This father and son show off their stringer taken from Alta Lake on the lowland lakes season opening day. They were part of a large group that travels from Davenport every year to stay at the Wisperin Pine Ranch and fish Alta Lake.

Weinstein Beverage Pepsi Cola handed out 2,500 goodie bags at the annual Pepsi Youth Day at Memorial Park. Great weather brought huge attendance to the event that takes place the first weekend of the Wenatchee Apple Blossom Festtival.

I had my Jetcraft from Bob Feil Boats and Motors on display at the Pepsi Youth Day at the Apple Blossom Festival. Thousands visited Memorial Park and I entertained the kids with the Wheel of Fish, borrowed from the folks that bring you Salmon Fest.

Anton Jones of Darrell and Dads Family Guide Service gave an excellent presentation on how to catch triploids to this group of anglers. They were at the seminar provided by Town Ford. Anglers were eager to learn his techniques prior to the Trippin with the Triploids derby on May 12th.
