The free seminar at Town Ford is just a couple of days away, and I hope you have it marked as one of the things you’re going to do on Wednesday. The seminar will be held at Town Ford’s new location in East Wenatchee across from Costco and just up the hill from Town Toyota. The featured speakers will be picking up the microphone at 6 p.m. First up will be Lou Nevismal from Coulee Playland in Coulee City. He will be talking about the planned draw down of Banks Lake late this summer and how it will impact the fishing on Banks, Lake Roosevelt and Rufus Woods Reservoir. Anglers will want to pick Lou’s brain on the walleye and bass fishing Banks while he’s there, and also find out some details on the kokanee fishing at Lake Roosevelt. Shane Magnuson, Upper Columbia Guide Service, is back, and this time he will be talking about the spring salmon fishing on the Icicle River, and I also have him sharing his techniques on summer-run salmon fishing on the upper Columbia. Don’t miss this one. You’ll be able to plan your whole summer around what these speakers have to offer.
