I have two dates that I want to you remember. The first is Saturday June 4th, which is when the annual Kids Fish-In Day happens at the National Fish Hatchery in Leavenworth. There have been some changes this year, the most important to note is that it is now a free event. You still need to register your kids, but it can all be done on-line. You can visit my web site at fishingmagician.com, and click on the Friends of Northwest Hatcheries banner on the right and it will take you right to the registration page. Just select the time that you want to come and you will get confirmation back in your inbox. It’s just that easy and I hope to see you and your family at the event. The next important date is Wednesday, June 8th. That’s when I am having the next seminar at Town Ford in East Wenatchee. Starting at 6 p.m. the seminar will feature Lou Nevsimal of Coulee Playland on Banks Lake. He will be giving everyone the details on the planned draw down of Banks Lake and how it will affect Banks Lake, Lake Roosevelt and Rufus Woods Reservoir. All appearing will be Shane Magnuson to talk about the Icicle River and summer-run salmon.
