I am heading back from a trip to the Columbia River in the Gorge, fishing for spring salmon and walleye. I will be sharing my experience in future reports, but my next stop is at Bridgeport for the Trippin with the Triploids Derby. Interest has been very high in this derby and I will also be sharing the results with you very soon. I will be home for a couple of days and then flying down to Baja, Mexico to scout a resort and guide service for a trip I will be offering in November. When I return I am hoping that the kokanee fishing has taken off at Lake Chelan. The fish are still not in the lower basin in any numbers but warm weather will drive them down.
