By Dave Graybill

I checked on some of the lakes in Grant County over the weekend and I will be able to share what I learned in more detail in my column in the Nickel Ad newspapers in Central Washington and in the Tri-Cities. I have a hunch that Park and Blue lakes will be particularly good again this year. I will also have a report on the Triple Fish Challenge and will provide details on that event in the same papers. I am traveling down to Potholes Reservoir to do a Fishing TV Show on the walleye fishing there, with guide Mark Olson. The walleye fishing has been very good on Potholes this year. I had one of the best days of walleye fishing I have ever had there earlier this spring. I’ll let you know how we did and when the video will be available on the Fishing TV Page of my web site. Good numbers of spring salmon are passing Bonneville Dam, and some are even going over Rock Island Dam. There is some very good updated information on the fish ladders and plans for repair on Wanapum on PUD web sites. Visit both the Grant County and Chelan County PUD sites to get the details.
