The summer salmon season in generating a lot of excitement, particularly with the huge return of sockeye this year. If you want to make the most of this year’s season you will want to attend the free seminar at Bob Feil Boats and Motors on Thursday, July 10th, starting at 6 p.m. Shane Magnuson, Upper Columbia Guide Service, will be there to share his techniques on catching summer-run salmon, including all the gear, baits and how to rig them. Austin Moser, of Austin’s Northwest Adventures guide service, will also be at the seminar. He will be talking about how to catch sockeye on both the Columbia River and Lake Wenatchee, which is going to have a record return of sockeye this year. The seminar will be a real benefit to anglers that may have been frustrated with their success in the early salmon season, and it comes right before the Wenatchee Salmon Derby. The information these two will present will give everyone an edge over the competition! The seminar will be held at the Bob Feil Boats and Motors dealership at 2131 Sunset Highway North, in East Wenatchee. There will be plenty of parking and light refreshments. I hope to see you there!
