By Dave Graybill

Much of what I have for you today is reminders of some important events coming up in the next few days. The first one is the public meeting with the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife on sport fishing rule changes in the Columbia River Basin. A topic that will be addressed at this meeting is the wild fish release that is in effect on the upper Columbia. If you want to voice your opinion or listen to the discussion on this issue you should be at the Chelan County PUD Auditorium on Wednesday, September 10th. The meeting will start at 7 p.m. On Thursday, September 11th there is a free seminar on fishing for fall salmon at Town Ford in East Wenatchee. This is going to be a good one. Rick Graybill, former guide and expert at catching fall kings, will be doing the presentation and he will have a very detailed Power Point description of the tackle, techniques and fishing areas in the Hanford Reach. On Saturday, September 13th, I will be doing a seminar on the same topic at Bob Feil Boats and Motors in East Wenatchee. The seminar will start at 1 p.m. and there will be plenty of parking available.
