As many of you know, my wife Eileen and I are going to host another fishing adventure in May of 2019. This will be the 6th time we have taken small groups to enjoy the fishing in a foreign country and to take advantage the other activities these destinations have to offer. We have been to Belize twice and the past three years we have visited three different locations on the Sea of Cortez. I am really excited about the trip next May, as we are returning to Belize. This time we are going further south, to Placencia. I have heard of the great fishing in the area for years. I traveled there in early November to confirm that the resort I had selected would be the best place for our group to stay, and to find a good guide service for the three days of fishing scheduled over eight days that we will be in Belize. I learned that there is even a greater variety of exciting sport fish to catch in this area. There are exceptional numbers of tarpon, bonefish, snook, permit, big barracuda and many different species of jacks, grouper and snapper. We always start early when we offer these trips and it is not unusual to have a couple drop out, due to unforeseen circumstances. So, there is still the opportunity to join this small group. To get all the details and costs I would encourage you to contact Sandy Mathews at Journey Travel and Tours in Wenatchee. You can call her office at 509-662-7775. Hope you can join us!
