By Eric Granstrom

For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. I've been involved in the Les Schwab Community Toy Drive over the past several weeks, which has occupied quite a bit of my time. But let me tell you it's time well-spent. A group of volunteers from various local businesses including Les Schwab have teamed up to help gather toys to be distributed through local non-profit organizations who work directly with kids and families having a rough go of it. To visit with representatives from these organization, such as CASA and Serve Wenatchee Valley, is heart-wrenching. Families that are on the brink of losing everything, including each other who are given a hand up. And the fact that we can make such a remarkable difference from something as simple as a toy for a child is heart-warming. You can find out more by searching Les Schwab Community Toy Drive on Facebook. While at Hooked On Toys yesterday, I ran into Rick Graybill and we chatted about the unbelievable King fishing in Lake Chelan. He showed me photo after photo of some incredibly large fish. He said morning and evening in 30-to-40 feet of water using herring and a flasher did the trick. Until next time, Good Fishing!
