Its sport show season in Washington, and it kicks off in our region with a show that it is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. Taking place from January 19th through the 21st, the Tri-Cities Sportsmens Show, which is held at the TRAC in Pasco, has been the biggest event every winter in the Tri-Cities. Great news for those who plan to attend is that the Great Bear Show is back, This a huge hit with families. Another big attraction is the 3-D Archery Range that takes over most of the area in the arena at the TRAC. Also in the arena area is the Outdoor Cooking Camp. Once again Cee Dub Welch will show his expertise with Dutch Oven Cooking. Better yet, those who observe his demonstration will get to sample the results. I personally enjoyed Cee Dub’s cooking for many years at Fish Camp, which I attended in the fall, and can testify that his ability with a Dutch oven is something special. The show will open on 1 p.m. on Friday and at 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. To get all the details about free door prizes and what to expect at this year’s show, log onto www.shuylerproductions.com.
