For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. I got a call from an old friend last week. I hadn't heard from him in a couple years, really. He apologized for not reaching out sooner and I said that's a two-way street. Sometimes life takes you in interesting, often unexpected turns that takes you in and out of people's lives. Such is the case with he and I. When we sat down for a beer, one of the first things out of his mouth was, "when are we going fishing?!" A great smile parted my lips and I said, "no kidding!" He and I had some great adventures on his boat. He lucked into this incredible Custom Weld at a steal of a price. It proved to be a perfect boat with a hard top to fish inclement weather in the winter or hide from the scorching sun in the summer. I was just thinking the other day if I wanted to de-winterize my boat to take it up to Rufus Woods or Lake Roosevelt and try for some rainbow.
