I wanted to give everyone a reminder that the Wenatchee Valley Sportsman Show is starting this Friday, February 22nd. It will be held at the Town Toyota Center and the doors will open on Friday at 1 p.m. I attended the Central Washington Sportsman Show in Yakima last weekend, and it was great. There were a lot of things to see and do there and this show has many of the same features. For the first time Schuyer Productions, who have been doing these shows for over 30 years, is bringing the West Texas Rattlesnake Show to the event. This drew a huge crowd in Yakima, and I am sure will do the same in Wenatchee. There is an excellent line up of speakers for the seminars. I know you will want to see the seminars on kokanee fishing, walleye fishing and even salmon and sockeye fishing that will be presented by local experts. The Trout Pond is always a huge hit with the kids, and Valley Marine will have their Kids Korner set up to entertain the kiddos. I will be hanging out with the folks from Bob Feil Boat, who has some just-arrived boats to check out, so stop by and say hi.
