By Dave Graybill

Bob Feil Boats and Motors in East Wenatchee has announced the first in a series of free seminars for the coming year. The first one will be on Wednesday, January 16th, starting at 6 p.m. There will be two presenters at this one. Austin Moser, of Austin’s Northwest Adventures, will be providing detailed information on the tackle and techniques he uses in the winter to catch kokanee and rainbow trout on Lake Roosevelt. Austin has fished Roosevelt in the winter for years and knows not only what to use to catch theses fish, but where to find them and how deep and how fast to fish. I will also be there that night. I will be talking about fishing for triploid rainbow trout on Rufus Woods Reservoir. I will show you how I have caught fish trolling above Chief Joseph Dam and below the Seatons Grove boat launch. I will have my favorite trolling rigs to show you. I will also talk about fishing Rufus Woods from the shore. The best fishing of the season is just ahead of us on these two reservoirs, so this will be a great seminar to plan your winter fishing.
