By Eric Granstrom

For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. My relationship with Dale Launer began years ago. I did a couple interviews with Dale for radio and always found him to be smiling. Dale saved my bacon once up in the Colockum. I was towing my Dad's Argosy up to set up elk camp with my brother's pickup. At about the worst possible place along the Colockum Pass Road, the transmission decided to puke up all it's fluid. I had a cliff on my left and a steep side hill on my right. Just as I was trying to figure out what happened, here comes Dale with a big smile on his face. He was towing his own trailer to set up his camp and said to hang on and he'd be right back. Sure enough, Dale returned and helped get the Argosy unhooked and he towed it up to our camp. Well even though Dale's somewhat retired from the trailer business, he's still very involved with Freedom RV. We decided to rent a trailer for our vacation to the coast. The last person I expected to see on the lot on the Chelan Highway was Dale, but there he stood, smiling as always. Thanks for the trailer Dale. Until next time, Good Fishing!
