By Eric Granstrom

For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. Wow! Somebody finally flipped a switch! We went from record cold temperatures to record warm temperatures in the matter of a week. 76 in Seattle yesterday? None the less, the weather has finally broke. The snow is finally melting. That means it's time to get the Lund out and do some fishing. Our inaugural trip will be this weekend up to Lake Chelan to chase some kokanee and possible a couple of those Kings they've been catching. The adapters for my Scotty downrigger bases are supposed to be here by the end of business tomorrow. So all I need to do is put those on, swap the bases from my old Reinell to the new boat and wire in the plugs for power. Then, I'll assemble all the fishing gear and do up some shoepeg corn. I'll do a batch of pink and another of just plain yellow with some of Graybill's Guide Formula scent. It will be our first time out in the Lund so preparation is a key. I haven't decided if we'll launch at Mill Bay or up at the State Park yet. Watch out fish, here we come! Until next time, Good Fishing!
