By Eric Granstrom

For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. Marion and I had been busy working around the house all weekend. We caught up on yard work Sunday and a bunch of things that had been lingering, needing to be done while we chose to got camping or fishing. It was after 5:30 when we finally started winding down and I suggested we grab some chicken and refreshments and go out on the boat. Marion was game so by 6:30 we were on the water, launching at nearby Kirby Billingsley Hydro Park. Being a Sunday night, we had the launch and the water to ourselves. We ran all the way up to the base of Rocky Reach Dam, turned the engine off and drifted. I was quite surprised to see several salmon surfacing and fish showing up on the screen. It was great just to stretch out, listen to the water gurgle beneath the hull and just drift. Marion suggested we do a FishingMagician.com video and I said, "on what?" She suggested, "about what we're doing right now!" So we did, which you can see on our Facebook page. If you have a boat, run it. Use it. Or you'll lose it. Until next time, Good Fishing!
