By Eric Granstrom

For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. Usually, we'd be getting the kids back in school which would be a mental transition time for fishing. We'd adjust our schedules around the grind of school, extracurricular activities and wedging in fishing trips on the weekends. But with a distant-learning scenario still a close-up reality, it's hard to adjust our mental calendars. It still feels kind of luck summer vacation, especially for those who have been able to adjust work-schedules to allow the ability to work from home. It has led to some freed up afternoons, which means a field trip for you and the kids for some on-hand learning involving some fish and an aquatic environment. So where's the good fishing still? Basically, anywhere you look. Dave just gave us another good report on Lake Wenatchee sockeye. From what I hear, there's still plenty of sockeye still holding in the Brewster Pool and the kings are still biting at Beebe and Chelan Falls. Up over the hill, I'm hearing of good Mack catches in Chelan and an occasional Chinook as well. So the limit is only your gas tank and imagination as the seasons change. Or do they? Until next time, Good Fishing!
