For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. I got quite a surprise in my mailbox yesterday. When's the last time you said that?! The mailbox seems like such an archaic thing anymore. But in my mailbox yesterday came the Bass Pro Shops/Cabela's 2020 Master Catalog. You might not understand what this means. I have reading material in my bathroom for the next three months! As I gently placed it on the kitchen countertop last night, I was taken back to my childhood. When I was a kid, we got a similar thrill when the Montgomery Wards catalog came out a few months before Christmas. I'd go through and circle all the toys I hoped Santa would bring for Christmas. Of course, the one thing I asked for over four-straight Christmases I never got. It was called a Green Machine. It was like a Big Wheel, but cooler. You sat back in it and pumped the pedals while controlling your steering with two levers on the side. Of course, the Bass Pro Shops/Cabela's catalog will also be dog-eared on pages of items for which I wish to have. Then to place it purposely for my wife to see. Until next time, Good Fishing!
