For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. My boss came to me several weeks ago and told me she knew I'd been working hard and putting in extraordinary hours and wanted to give me and Marion a break. She offered us a chance to stay at their log cabin up near Lake Wenatchee on Nason Creek. All we had to do was settle on a weekend and let her know. Well, this last weekend was our trip. As the forecast for imminent snow loomed and news of Coronavirus continued to escalate, we couldn't wait to head west on US-2 and get away from it all. The cabin is gorgeous and sits on a spit of land where Nason Creek trickles around it. There's a master bedroom downstairs and two other bedrooms upstairs with two bathrooms, a wraparound deck and huge hot tub that overlooks the creek. It's just what the doctor ordered! There's wi-fi there but we tried to stay off our phones. We ate, we slept and on Sunday morning while soaking in the tub, Marion suggested we detoxify in the creek. We ran down through the snow and jumped in. It was frigid but exhilarating. Now we're ready again to face the world. Until next time, Good Fishing!
