By Eric Granstrom

For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. Strange how the mind can work. I was dead asleep last night and dreamed of an old friend I haven't talked to in years. In the dream, I was attending a fishing seminar in Pasco, which is where he and I met while I worked at KONA radio in the early 90's. We quickly became friends, golfing and fishing together. In the dream, he was quizzing me on why I hadn't been in contact. He assumed work had consumed me and I said something about how my passion had become just a job. Then his blue eyes sparkled and a wide grin came across his face and he said, "ah, there it is! Say no more Kemosabe." Next thing I know, we're in my boat on the Columbia River and we're joined by another fishing friend and a father and son. They're asking me questions about fishing the river and I accidentally run into shallow water while I'm answering. I'm turning the boat while grinding through the shallows and get back into deeper water. My old friend says, "nice save captain!" Believe me, I'm searching my phone for his number today. Until next time, Good Fishing!
