For FishingMagician.com I'm Eric Granstrom. It's Christmas week. What do you hope is under the tree for you? What was the BEST Christmas present you ever got as a kid? Believe it or not, mine was a fishing pole when I was 5-years old. Santa came through with a Sears and Roebuck, Ted Williams spinning rod. It was my pride and joy. I used that thing on every fishing trip we took from age 5 to 35. Then, it disappeared. I lost track of it. I bought other rods. I thought it was gone forever. Then, here about a year ago, I got a text message from an old girlfriend. Yes, at first I was like, "oh boy, what does SHE want?!" She asked if I could stop by her house because she had something to give to me. After touching base with my wife to let her know nothing "fishy" was going on, I stopped by. She greeted me at the door with my Ted Williams spinning rod. Seems she was cleaning out the garage and it had fallen behind a cabinet. Now, that rod is in our living room on display proudly.
