For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. I saw someone post on Facebook the other day that the 1980's are as far away from today as the 1940's were when we were in the 80's. If that doesn't make you feel old, I don't know what will?! The older I get, the quicker time seems to flash by. I was perusing videos I shot with Dave over the years and came across a fantastic fishing trip we took with Shane Magnuson on the Wenatchee River for spring chinook salmon. It was May 30th of 2015. I had to check and re-check the date posted with the video because I kept thinking, "how could that be 6-years ago already?!" Who knows if we'll have that type of fishery again, but if you want to watch some great, drift-boat action, check it out. We were on board with Shane and fishing buddy Dan Schleiffers on Shane's new Clackacraft. Shows how the world has changed. Since then, Shane sold the boat and concentrates his efforts on the lower Columbia for spring chinook. The video not only shows some great fishing action, but the gorgeous spring wildlife and views.
