By Eric Granstrom

For FishingMagician.com I'm Eric Granstrom. My admission here may reveal my intellect, but my favorite book in all the world is Dr. Seuss' "Oh The Places You'll Go!" It was given to me when I graduated high school and I've given it to several people as a graduation gift. In Seuss' whimsical way, he really boils down the plight of life. Sometimes you're high. Sometimes you're low. Sometimes you're winning. And sometimes you're losing. The point is to keep going. For fisherman right now, we're in that waiting place. We want spring to be here. We're tired of the snow and ice. But we have to wait. As Seuss said, "The Waiting Place...for people just waiting. Waiting for a train to go or a bus to come, or a plane to go or the mail to come, or the rain to go or the phone to ring, or the snow to snow or waiting around for a Yes or No or waiting for their hair to grow. Everyone is just waiting. Waiting for the fish to bite or waiting for wind to fly a kite...Everyone is just waiting." And so, we wait, spring will come. Until next time, Good Fishing!
