Who is Dave Graybill, AKA the FishingMagician

Dave Graybill, AKA the Fishing Magician, is lifelong angler and one of the most recognized fishermen and voices in Washington State. He’s been fishing Eastern Washington waters for over 60 years and launched FishingMagician.com website in 2001, which now averages 200,000 Unique Visitors each month. He began posting on his Facebook page in 2010 and now has over 126,000 Followers.  He has over 5,000 Subscribers on YouTube.

He has connected with anglers through radio broadcasts on Eastern Washington stations and KVI in Seattle. In the early 70s Dave was a writer and photographer for Fishing and Hunting News and has written dozens of articles for many regional magazines.  He has had weekly columns in The Wenatchee World, and four editions of the NCW News newspapers.  Dave currently provides a weekly column in four editions of the Spokane Exchange, reaching 80,000+ readers.

He has produced 300+ educational fishing videos on YouTube and have worked on video projects with Grant County PUD, Grant County Tourism, Okanogan County Tourism and the City of Moses Lake.  He wrote the Fishing Guides for Grant County Tourism, Okanogan County Tourism and the Wenatchee Chamber of Commerce.

Dave previously served a six-year term as a Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife Commissioner and was on the original Columbia River Salmon and Steelhead Endorsement Board for five years. He also served for eight years on the Citizens Advisory Committee for the Salmon and Steelhead Enhancement Board.

He has remained active in youth fishing and conservation efforts, and organized Youth Fishing Events at Rock Island, which is still going strong after 20 years: Also, events at Beehive Reservoir, the City of Lake Chelan, the Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery and the City of Moses Lake.
