Trout were frisky at the the Annual Fishing Kids Day at the Leavenworth Fish Hatchery. Nearly 500 kids registered, and got a free rod and reel, t-shirt and a chance to catch two fish.

I got a chance to fish Georgetown Lake, Montana, within a week of the ice coming off. I caught a dozen nice rainbow in a couple of hours in the evening.
