Here’s something for the “a little different file” from me. I got a call from Metal Flowers Media in Hollywood, California, and they are doing the casting for a new cable television show. They are looking for some hardcore anglers for a project that will be filmed in an exotic location. The idea is to put some anglers to the test in extreme conditions. Not only do they want some tough guys for the experience they want people that can be available for the shooting. If you or someone you know would like to learn more about this, contact them at mailto:casting@metalflowersmedia.com. I would love to be part of this, but I have my trip to Belize coming up the last week in May. Locally, there are a couple of fisheries that are getting attention. One is the kokanee fishing at Lake Chelan, of course, but the other is the walleye fishing on the Columbia River and on Lake Roosevelt. I did a TV Show on fishing near Two Rivers and on the Spokane Arm a couple of years ago, and this is the time it really starts to happen up there. We didn’t catch big fish, but we got a lot of them.
