As many of you may know I have traveled to Belize a couple of times and have had some great fishing for bonefish, tarpon and other species that are found in abundance here. Learning that Belize has the second largest barrier reef in the world got my attention, and that sure contributes to the wonderful fishing on the “flats”. Well, Journey Travel and Tours in Wenatchee contacted me and with their help I will be hosting a trip to Belize from February 4th to the 14th. I have worked with them to set up the trip and arrange the guide services. We will be staying in one of the best places on the beach at Ambergist Caye, and using the guide service I used the last time I was there. There are a limited number of people that will be able to go along, and I would encourage you to contact Journey Travel and Tours in Wenatchee to save your self a place. This is a great time of year to visit Belize. Fishing is always good for bonefish, and this is when the permit fishing is the best. Even if you don’t fish it’s a great place to get away to in the winter.
