The first sports show in our region is the 24th annual Tri-Cities Sportsmens Show in Pasco. It starts on Friday, January 20th and runs through Sunday the 22nd. The show will open at 1 p.m. on Friday, and the doors will close at 7 p.m. You will want to get there early on Friday. The first 200 people will get a cash giveaway at the door. On Saturday the first 150 people who go through the doors, when they open a 10 a.m., will get a free goody bag from Gibbs. Some of the highlights of this show are the 3-D Archery Range, the Lunker Lake kids fishing pond, and the new Walk on the Wild Side show. They do an excellent job of having lots of activities for kids. There is the fishing pond, of course, but also a balloon shoot, an air rifle range and the Sportsmen’s Journal, which is a scavenger hunt for the kids and when it is completed they will get a prize. You can get even more details about the show by logging onto the web site for all three shows that will be held in Eastern Washington at www.schuylerproductions.com.
