By Eric Granstrom

For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. Sunday, Marion and I caught up on our chores and were taking a breather when I suggested we go for a drive. She said, "sure!" I asked if she wanted me to throw in some rods and fishing gear and she said, "sure!" There's no wonder why I love that woman so much! So, off we went, driving north. It's amazing what a little wind in your hair and sun on your face can do for your attitude. This planet can get pretty ugly at times. Well, the people inhabiting the planet can get ugly. And in the midst of all the negativity swirling around mainstream and social media and civil unrest spilling into urban streets, let me tell you how nice it was to turn the phones off and just drive in the country. An hour and a half later, we found ourselves on the banks of one of my favorite lakes. Soon, lawn chairs were set. Hooks were baited. And we were fishing. It was 4:30 when we began. I didn't expect much action. But the Power Bait came through again and we caught two limits. Until next time, Good Fishing!
