By Eric Granstrom

For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. Hard to believe we're at the end of another year and a flip of the calendar once again. As I look back at the year of fishing, there were some pretty magical moments. It had to start in March when Dave Graybill, Rollie Schmitten and I went fishing at Rufus Woods and I lucked into the biggest trout of my life. We figured it was 20-pounds if it was an ounce. Then of course there was the trip to Winthrop to spend time with Dad over Father's Day Weekend. He and I snuck up to Pearrygin for some father-son fishing, just the two of us. We didn't get a single bite, but that wasn't the purpose really. Marion and I took a trip to Canada a couple weeks later to explore the Canadian Rockies in eastern B.C. We barely scratched the surface of this incredible landscape and found some fish along the way at Premier Lake and Whiteswan Lake. I tagged along with my sister and her fiancé Tim to the Brewster Pool and found a few sockeye on Lake Wenatchee with Dave Koepke. And, every adventure was memorable with My Marion. Hope you have a Happy New Year. Until next time, Good Fishing!
