You will see boats of every shape and size on the water when Lake Wenatchee opens for sockeye fishing. This one was outstanding!

Not only is the sockeye fishing at Lake Wenatchee a ton of fun, the scenery is spectacular. Here's a shot of Glacier Peak, which can be seen from the top end of the lake.

Lunch is served at the annual fishing day for the group that came to the Upper Valley Connection Fishing Day at Fish Lake. Volunteers from the Icicle Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited take everyone fishing on party barges provided by the Cove Resort.
