Moses Lake Me web
As you can see I am pretty pleased with this 4-pound smallmouth bass I caught while fishing with local guide, Keith Jensen, Banks Lake Bass Fishing. I caught this one off a bed on Moses Lake. Bass fishing on Moses Lake is excellent right now, for finding smallmouth on their beds, but whopper smallmouth and largemouth are taken here throughout the season.
Jim Teeny 1 web
Jim Teeny holds up one of the many rainbow he caught while fishing at the Pronghorn Lake Ranch. Most of the rainbow he caught were 5 to 9 pounds. The fish here hit like a freight train and are very tough fighters. Teeny’s company specializes in quality fly fishing lines, some of which are ranked the best in the world for certain applications. Jim Teeny Fly Boxes and Lines web
Shown here is a shot of two of many of the fly boxes and lines that Jim Teeny brought along on our trip to the Pronghorn Lake Ranch in southern Oregon. We used up to three different lines each day, depending on how deep the fish were holding. The different versions of the Teeny Nymph and the Teeny Lines served us well over the two days we fished for the whopper rainbow there.
Boat Me
Here I am at the helm of the Kingfisher 2025 Discovery I am driving this season. It's a real fishing machine! See you on the water!
Chelan Dan Feil
Dan Feil, of Bob Feil Boats and Motors, shows off a jumbo kokanee he caught while fishing with me near the Yatch Club on Lake Chelan.
Wapato Lake Stringer
I grew up fishing Wapato Lake near Lake Chelan, and it was good to see it is still a great trout fishing water. This Manson angler and his fishng partner filled their stringers with fat rainbow on opening day.
Blue Lake
Josh Garland, of Gig Harbor, hefts a heavy stringer of fish taken on Blue Lake, north of Soap Lake. Most anglers caught plenty of quality rainbow at Blue Lake during the opening weekend of lake fishing.
Rock Island Sign
The Wenatchee Sportsmen's Association once again turned out in force at the Rock Island Kids Fishing Day. They made sure all the kids had a rod and reel to use and provided bait and tackle.
Rock Island Sammy
Salmon Fest's Sammy Salmon paid a visit to the Rock Island Kids Fishing Day. Corky Broaddus, Director of Salmon Fest invited everyone to come on September 21st this fall.
Rock Island Grass Carp
This angler didn't know what he had on his line, but it was big! This is a grass carp and when caught on any of the Rock Island lakes should be put back unharmed. They help reduce the weeds in the lakes.
