By Eric Granstrom

For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. You may have heard Dave or me talk about Fish Camp. While it's not open to the general public, it does happen in a place where the public can cash in on some great salmon fishing. Each September, Ed Iman hosts a group of outdoor writers and show hosts to Peach Beach RV Park next to Maryhill State Park on the Washington side of the Columbia River at Biggs Junction. In addition, Iman brings in fishing and outdoor manufacturer representatives and pairs them up with the outdoor writers and show hosts to go spend a day on the water with fishing guides catching mostly salmon. Dave and I have done several shows you can search on our YouTube page that will not only show you great places to fish along that stretch of the Columbia River, but how to fish salmon here as well. There are several stretches of water all within a short drive that produce fantastic fisheries for fall-run King salmon. There are plenty of public launches and ample camping on both sides of the river. Heck, its only a little over three hours away from Wenatchee! Until next time, Good Fishing!
