For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. We're over halfway through October and it's that time when boat owners have to decide if they're taking it out any more this year or time to tuck it away for winter. There's plenty of advice and videos out there on what to do to winterize your boat. If you're lucky like me and have a place indoors to store it, it's really about taking care of the fuel and carburetors on your engines. I use Stabil in my tanks and will unplug the fuel line while the engines run to starve them of fuel. Of course, I'll pull any plugs and make sure water is out of the boat before I store it. A little extra work now will go a long way towards making life easy in the spring when it's time to get out fishing again. Now, for those of you who love getting out and fishing this time of year, there are still plenty of places to go. As Dave mentioned, Potholes is still producing walleye. I've also had some decent reports of walleye catch coming out of Banks Lake. Of course, there's always kokanee at Chelan. Until next time, Good Fishing!
