By Eric Granstrom

For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. Tomorrow is the deadline to apply for a multiseason deer or elk tag in Washington. Easiest way to do it is to head to fishhunt.dfw.gov online and enter there. If you've never done it, make sure you have your Wild ID when you go and create your profile. The cost is $6.60 per application. If you're drawn, the multi-season tag gives you the opportunity to hunt throughout the year during the various openings, whether it be modern firearm, archery or muzzleloader. The drawing results are available in April. If drawn for the multiseason elk tag, it allows hunters to hunt both sides of the state of Washington. The website is also a great way to look into how many Special Hunt points you have. A few years ago, my Dad and I went in together in a group application, combining our points and were drawn for late season any buck archery tags for the Entiat. As April draws near, I was thinking it's also the time to grab the boat and the wife and head to Chelan for some kokanee fishing. I've been seeing some good reports up there lately. Until next time, Good Fishing!
