By Dave Graybill

Cascade Auto Center will be offering another seminar in their popular series on how to fish our local waters, always presented by local experts. Coming up on Wednesday, October 1st will be one of the most popular every offered. Due to the phenomenal popularity of fishing for triploid rainbow trout at Rufus Woods Reservoir, Anton Jones and Joe Heinlen of Darrell and Dad’s Family Guide Service will be there to talk about the killer techniques they have developed. We are looking at an even better steelhead season than we had last year, and Shane Magnuson, of Upper Columbia Guide Services will be sharing secrets on taking steelhead on the upper Columbia and Wenatchee Rivers. Also making presentations that evening will be Art Viola, WDFW biologist, with a forecast of the steelhead returns for the area. Jerrod Gibbons will also be on hand to tell everyone about the great steelhead fishing available on the Okanogan River. I will have my new Lund Sport Angler on display and Valley Marine will bring a couple boats up for the event. It will all be happening on Wednesday, October 1st at Cascade Auto Center, starting at 6 p.m.
