By Eric Granstrom

For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. Marion and I finally have a weekend free coming up and we're trying to decide what to do and where to go. We're heading to my family's property in Winthrop over the Memorial Day Weekend in two weeks to camp and fish at Pearrygin. My first thought was to head there this weekend, do some work on the property since no one's been there all winter, and get some prospect fishing in before the big weekend. But then again, that's two weekend's in a row of spending a ton on fuel to take the camper and boat there and back. I'm also super jealous of all the fantastic kokanee being caught on Lake Chelan the past several weeks. I told Marion we could just stay close to home, save money on fuel and not take the camper and just use the truck to take the boat for a day trip to Chelan. Of course, the thought of fighting crowds on a weekend on Lake Chelan is not super appealing either. But boy those kokanee sure look good! That's the spectacular problem we have living in North Central Washington, so many choices. Until next time, Good Fishing!
