By Dave Graybill

I wanted people to know that Hooked on Toys in Wenatchee has added a new person to their staff of fishing experts that you can consult with at the store. Joining Don Talbot and Pete Flohr is my brother Rick Graybill to answer questions and demonstrate how to be more successful when fishing here in Central Washington. Rick was a highly respected full time guide for 14 years and was widely known as the expert on fishing for salmon and lake trout on Lake Chelan and for fall run kings at Vernita. His expertise includes fishing for summer run salmon on the upper Columbia. He also has a reputation as an excellent walleye angler. He also catches more steelhead on a bobber and jig on the Columbia River than anyone I know. If you want to put more fish in your cooler Rick can help. You will find him at the reel counter or in the fishing tackle isles at Hooked on Toys when you are in the store, or you can call and ask for him by dialing 509-663-0740. Also, there are some Okanogan County and Grant County lakes being considered for rehab, and you should visit the department’s web site to learn when the public meetings on this plan are scheduled.
