Anglers that have been out after steelhead and haven’t had much success, or are new to the sport will want to mark this date on their calendars. On Wednesday, October 21st there will be a seminar on how to catch steelhead fishing. The seminar will take place at Town Ford in Wenatchee, beginning at 6 p.m. Shane Magnuson, of Upper Columbia Guide Services, will be presenting step by step instructions on how to set up various rigs for catching steelhead. Magnuson is an expert at catching these fish on all our local rivers. Also providing a presentation that evening will be Joe Heinlen, of Lake Chelan Adventures. He will be talking about the exciting developments in fishing for Chinook salmon on Lake Chelan. The kings are back and he can tell anglers how to catch these beauties. Ten kids age 10 to 14 will be able to go fishing with Wenatchee Wild hockey players at the Cove at Fish Lake! More details on this one will be out soon.
