By Eric Granstrom

For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. I didn't know I had grown attached to it. After all, it was just a truck. But as I watched it drive out my driveway a couple weekend's ago, my heart squeezed just a little bit. After driving the wheels off my 2006 GMC Sierra, I bid farewell to it. I was shocked that there was an overwhelming feeling of sadness. Marion suggested we sell it and start looking for something else. I didn't expect it to go so quickly. It took Marion not even a full day to find a buyer. It went to a good home and will help a young man get back and forth to work. The last time I felt sentimental about a vehicle was my first car, a 1977 Chevy Camaro. I bought it on my 15th birthday and fixed it up with a new paint job by the time I got my license. It went away after my sister and I survived a head-on collision in it in 1987. It's amazing how we can get attached to an inanimate object. Now the search is on for my next truck. Only requirement, tow the boat. Until next time, Good Fishing!
