By Eric Granstrom

For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. Marion and I took the Lund out for another adventure yesterday morning. We headed back to Chelan Falls to see if there were any more Kings left to be caught. With us on this adventure was our good friend Tara Whaley and her brother Dale. Tara had mentioned when the season opened that she'd love to get her brother out to have a chance at catching his first-ever King. We launched from Beebe at 4:30 and had our first fish on by 5. It was just a little bigger than a jack, but Dale was stoked to catch his first-ever Chinook. Of course, it would make a dive at the boat and wrap around the kicker motor leg. Thankfully, it was hooked well and I was able to net it. We hooked up again on our second pass with a nice King, but it snapped off on its second run, taking with it my flasher and Brad's Super Bait cut plug. At 8:30, we got into a 20-pounder that nearly landed Dale as he landed it. The bite was slow, but we still put blood in the boat. Until next time, Good Fishing!
