By Eric Granstrom

For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. Marion and I busted hump Saturday to get a bunch of chores done around the house, including blowing the irrigation lines out and readying the house for winter. On Sunday morning, I asked if she was up for a drive. She said yes so, we were off to Jameson Lake and Jack's Resort. It's only 36-miles from our house in East Wenatchee. An hour later, I was saying hi to Ginger at Jack's Resort and letting her know we'd be back for dinner. We plunked a couple chairs down along the road, dropped some lines in the water festooned with Power Bait and listened to the Seahawks game on the radio. It wasn't long before we had a fish on. They really liked the Sherbet Sparkle Power Bait. We finished up with 8 nice rainbows in the box and returned to the restaurant for dinner. Ginger says we caught them on their last day of being open daily for the year and that they'd close for a couple weeks to handle issues in the kitchen and reopen on weekends. It's worth the drive to Jack's to try Ginger's pie alone. Until next time, Good Fishing!
